It seems like the best weather is always after a hurricane passes. Our thoughts and prayers are definitely out there for all those impacted but it’s a GORGEOUS day here in Tallahassee.

Due to Hurricane Isaias, we are pushing our main Oktoberfest Celebration out one weekend to Friday, Oct 16 – Sunday, Oct 18!

Your safety comes first, but we’re still raising a glass this weekend! Here is everything you need to know…

* Oktoberfest B**r Tapping | Festbier, Märzen, Dunkel, and Hefeweizen are still tapping TOMORROW (10/9) and will stay on tap until sold out!
* Tankard Glass Special (10/9 – 10/18) | Pre-purchased or buying a 0.5L or 1L tankard? Enjoy $2 off full pours EVERY SINGLE DAY from Friday 10/9 through Sunday 10/18! No need to carry your glass back and forth—we’ll supply a fresh glass at check-in every time you visit.

⛈️OKTOBERFEST UPDATE⛈️

Amicus Brewing Ventures is keeping an eye on the impending weather this weekend and are currently making a decision on whether or not to push Oktoberfest to a later date. While we would love to have Oktoberfest this weekend and celebrate with our community, the safety of our staff and customers comes first. We will continue to keep an eye on the developing storm and update you as soon as we make a decision over the next day. For those of you who have purchased tankards you are still covered and more details about that will be coming out soon. Thank you for bearing with us while we work this out!

For our October Charity Tap we are excited to partner with the local non-profit UKirk Tallahassee! For every full pour of our delicious Hazy IPA Transfiguration, $1 will be donated to support this 501(c)(3).

“UKirk (literally meaning University Church) is the Presbyterian Church (USA) ministry for college students in the Tallahassee area. Formally known as, ‘PUC.’ We seek to foster a loving community of welcome and inclusion as we strive to live as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. We are part of a larger network of PC(USA) campus ministries (called UKirk Ministries) that seek to reach, teach, and love college students no matter who they are or what they believe.

During the semesters, we host a FREE dinner followed by a dynamic worship service every Thursday. Weekly we have Bible and book study groups, and various other service opportunities. UKirk Tallahassee also operates a student-run nonprofit coffee shop, called Calvin’s Coffee House. Calvin’s is a place where all are welcomed and valued. Calvin’s also hosts a variety of after-hours events that showcase students’ talents, opportunities to engage the wider community, and celebrate the wonder and vastness of God’s creativity.”

Join us Sunday October 18th from 4PM-6PM to meet some guest beertenders from UKIRK & Calvins Coffee House (a local ministry of UKIRK), and learn more about the organization from the locals who run it!
