Mary Sood was such a beautiful soul, inside and out. She was one of Sherry's biggest fans and supporters. She would text or call me with ideas and made it her mission to help us. From texting or calling for our Salmon BLT to introducing me to her network. She was genuine, supportive, and just a sweet and beautiful person. Prayers to her family and to those whose lives she impacted. Well done, Mary. Well Done.

With my skillset, I was able to turn a conversation into a concept at Ray’s Lounge. By listening to the customer, I literally and figuratively developed the ingredients for a successful launch with their Tuesday–Saturday menu. From recipe creation and pricing to full menu development, I walk you through each step in the process and am always a call away.

My consulting services also cover standard operating procedures, staff training, and Department of Health compliance- helping restaurants build strong systems, consistency, and profitability from day one.

Fresh, sliced pastrami, crunchy broccoli slaw (our twist), and our spicy peppers and house sauce made the perfect sandwich. Looking forward to bringing it to the ATL weekend markets.

I’ve been seeing so many of our Sherry’s Family supporting Ray's Lounge, and many of you have made it your new lunch and dinner spot. It feels so good to see familiar faces and get those great big hugs.

When I closed Sherry’s, I knew it was never meant to be forever—it was meant to be for a season, an appointed time. However, the seeds planted back then took root, and it’s been beautiful to watch how they’ve continued to bear new fruit.

I’ve had the honor of curating the menu at Ray’s and working with an incredible couple who share a passion for food, community, and creating something special right here in Talladega—the place that shaped me.

God gave me the gift of food and service, and I’ll keep using it to bless this city I love so much and many others. This is still just the beginning. 🌱❤️

Hi Sherry’s Family! I’m excited to have been working with this amazing couple the last few months. Ray's Lounge will open Saturday, June 28.

Please come support. I’ve been working with Tangie to curate a menu y’all will love. For our salad lovers, they’ll have great salads, our Salmon BLT and Chicken Bacon Ranch will also be included on their menu.

Charles grew up in Lincoln, and is excited to open this restaurant in his home community. What he and Tangie have done with this building is nothing short of awe inspiring.

Can’t wait for y’all to experience the great food and beautiful space they’ve created with a love for the community in mind.

See y’all on June 28th and for lunch or dinner during the weeks to come.

Sherry’s sends our sincere condolences and prayers of comfort and strength to the family of Megan Carpenter. We worked with her through our partnership with Talladega Main Street. Her dedication to the community will be greatly missed.

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved board member, Megan Carpenter, passed away Friday morning.

Megan's life was far too short, but it was wide and full—full of family, friends, community, and purpose. Megan loved Talladega. She was a champion for our schools.

Please support, Talladega.

As this beautiful family mourns the loss of such a sweet child our heart breaks for them. We don’t know circumstances nor are we related but we do know God and we know this family needs love and support. Today 100% of our sales income will go to this family, we have plenty of food so come support this family so we can help them as much as possible. I don’t know what to say to Lance or Bliss except we love you in God, we pray for you, and no matter what time of day if you need us we will drop what we are doing to come. Always be kind.
