Art Opening this Saturday, 3-5 pm!

The Pride Art Walk will have an opening reception at the Flying Squirrel Bakery and the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Saturday, May 30th from 3pm to 5pm.

They're back, for those who like to partake, Almond Goat Cheese Danishes, are settling in for the summer on either Wednesdays or Thursdays! Check for them in the case weekly...They're delightful and delicious.

Yesterday there was a tattoo, today a perfect fleecy Flying Squirrel jumpsuit costume! Niyia from Palmer came in today with her family dressed for the visit to the Squirrel!

First time in 17 years of business that a customer showed us his Flying Squirrel tattoo! All the way from Nome, Alaska visiting friends in Talkeetna, Keith Conger was so excited to share this with us and hear that, YES! We have flying squirresl in Alaska and in Talkeetna!

CALL FOR ART: Alaska artists are invited to participate in a group show celebrating Pride month! Submit 1-4 pieces on May 25 by bringing ready to hang original art to DAC.
