🍕 THE CLOVERLEAF: A SLICE OF TACOMA HISTORY — PART 1
Were you there….
In 1961 Larry Turco brought the pizza to the Cloverleaf Tavern from his interest in a restaurant in Ponders. The pizza came in the 11 inch regular only and was served on a paper plate. The kitchen was in the front with a walk up window for to go orders.
Can you imagine the Cloverleaf pizza being served on a paper plate and ordering it through a walk-up window? 🍕
