Alright, Yuma County business owners, who wants to brainstorm a little trouble with me? 😂🥾

I’m thinking about putting together a hiking scavenger hunt open to any business in Yuma County! I want to give folks a fun reason to get outside and get moving, myself included. Apparently I need a scavenger hunt to get my butt out on a trail. 🤣

Each business could come up with a funny item or clue that represents them, and you’d actually have to hike to find them all. We could even put together a prize basket with goodies from the businesses that join in!

I’m still tossing ideas around, so if you own a business anywhere in Yuma County and want to brainstorm with me, drop a comment or send me a message!

Good afternoon, you beautiful people!

Just a reminder that Tuesday, November 3rd, we will be closing at 5 PM so we can attend the Town of Wellton meeting!

Now, about Wednesday, November 4th! 🎲

I believe I originally told you guys we’d be closing at 4 PM, but we’re actually closing at 3 PM!

WHY?! Because for once, I’d like to actually enjoy an event I’m hosting instead of being held hostage by my own kitchen! 😂🤣

And here’s the BEST part… YOU SNACK FOR FREE! 🙌

I’m outsourcing the food for BUNCO, and we’ve got some deliciousness coming your way!

🍗 The Hive Restaurant will be providing the WINGS!

🥪 G’s Spot Sandwich Co. will be bringing in sandwiches on FRESH DUTCH CRUNCH BREAD! 🤤

We’re supporting other local businesses, keeping everyone fed, and giving me a chance to actually hang out, laugh, and roll some dice with you ladies! 🎲❤️

NOW FOR THE DISAPPOINTING NEWS… 🥹😭

I STILL have not heard back regarding our BYOB approval. So, as of today, BUNCO remains ALCOHOL FREE! 😭🍷🚫

I know, I know. I was looking forward to a little liquid courage myself! 🤣

But hey, we’ve got free food, great company, dice, and ME attempting to host BUNCO. What could possibly go wrong?! 😂

Good morning, everyone! ☕🌧️ It’s a beautiful rainy morning!

Good thing it’s linen-changing day at home, because I know at least one dog will be splashing in muddy water and then heading straight for our bed. Apparently, we’re doing paw-print bedding this season. 🐾🤦‍♀️😂

It’s an absolutely beautiful morning, and I’m trying to get ahead of the weekend! I’ll be elbow-deep in potato salad, and if time and my attention span cooperate, pasta salad too! 🥔🍴

Huge shout-out to the Mohawk staff, parents, volunteers, and EVERYONE who helped make tonight happen! ❤️ I’m leaving absolutely stuffed, and of course I had to visit the sweet treat table before heading out. There’s always room. 😂🍪

For those who don’t know, some of my best childhood memories are from the Roll/Tacna area. Driving with the windows down beside the fields, taking in those familiar country smells and passing places that used to hold water but are now just dirt… it took me right down memory lane.

For a minute, I was a kid again, remembering the good times with my brothers. ❤️ Thank you, Mohawk, for a wonderful evening and a little unexpected trip back in time.

🚨 A LITTLE REMINDER & A WHOLE LOT OF THANKSGIVING LOVE! 🦃❤️

Just a friendly reminder that Chubby Cheeks will be closing at 4 PM TODAY, October 28th, and again on Saturday, October 31st! 🎃

Now, on to something near and dear to our hearts! ❤️

🦃 IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! 🦃

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite traditions!

This year, Chubby Cheeks Country Deli will once again be providing 6 COMPLETE Thanksgiving dinners to 6 families! ❤️

Here’s where our amazing community comes in!

🥔 Chubby Cheeks will be purchasing all 6 turkeys, and we’re asking our wonderful community to help us put together the rest of the meals!

We’re looking for donations of Thanksgiving goodies like potatoes, stuffing, green beans, corn, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, pies, and all those delicious things that make Thanksgiving dinner special! 🥧🍽️

And don’t worry, we’re not asking the community to do it all! Whatever items we’re still missing at the end, Chubby Cheeks will purchase to make sure all 6 families receive a complete Thanksgiving dinner. ❤️

Times are tough for a lot of folks, and sometimes a little kindness can make a BIG difference. Nobody should have to worry about putting a Thanksgiving meal on the table.

We have always believed that a small community with a big heart can do some pretty incredible things. And year after year, you guys prove that! 🥹❤️
