We had a wonderful experience during our one-hour horseback riding trip! This was our very first time on horses, and as a family, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The staff made us feel comfortable, and it was a perfect introduction to riding. We’ll be back!

Horseback Rides & Pony Rides are available at Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges...
Joey, Casey, Devon, and Preston will guide you onto the horse and take you out for the horseback ride you have chosen.
You will cross streams, open fields, orchards, and woodlands. You will be walking on the general rides. The horses are especially chosen to be careful and consistent. There is a maximum of eight riders.

Have your own horse but need trails to ride??? Bring your horse to Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges and ride our trails!!! Camping is available, Day Parking is available, Stall Rentals are available---all at

Graves Mountain Campground by the Shenandoah National Park is open 365 days a year.

1800 Acre Resort Property to EXPLORE...
The Graves Mountain Campground is 7 acres in size every day and increases to 55 acres on Holidays and Special Event days with a special permit. The Campground is located just across the road from the Main Lodge Entrance.

Located on the Resort Property, near the Campground:
2 Mountain Streams
2 Fishing Ponds - no license needed
29 Miles of Trails

Fees for Camping:
15 years old and up - $12 per person per night
6 years of age to 14 years of age - $6 per person per night
Ages 5 and under - FREE
Horses - $10 per horse per night in addition to the camping fee.

Madison Volunteer Fire Department will be accepting donations for Parking at the event.

Picnic Menu
Picnic dinner will be available to purchase at our Sycamore Picnic Pavilion from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM ~ no reservations needed. The menu will include Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Pork BBQ, Chicken Tenders, Garden Salad, French Fries, Ice Cream, Funnel Cakes, Donuts, Kettle Corn and more.

The Farmhouse Restaurant at The Main Lodge Dinner Menu:
An All You Can Eat Dinner Buffet featuring Rib-Eye Steak & Steamed Shrimp will be served at The Farmhouse Restaurant located in the Main Lodge from 5:00 PM -7:30 PM ~ reservations required, please. $34/person, children ages 6-14 are half price, children ages 5 & under are FREE.

More youth music making from last night showcase.
Classical students venturing into the scary land of no music/dots in fromt of them.

We are so proud of them.

Music and Mindfulness Mentorship Camp - completely free for 38 high school students on their way to university and conservatory scholarships.

Part of the Graves Mountain Charitable Fund 501(c)(3) and the Blue Ridge Center for Music and Creative Arts. Making Art and Youth Leadership in Syria VA.
