Hello friends!

Yesterday would have been our one year anniversary! I can’t tell you how heartbreaking it is that we couldn’t celebrate with our customers!

You all did amazing at supporting us. The bridge will finally open on Monday (woo hoo).

I had news that in about 2 weeks Edison will begin their work on the second block of Main Street. Not sure exactly how long that will take.

There are some changes happening behind the scenes. Stay tuned for additional news.

Today was the first day we didn’t open our doors for customers.

I wanted to take a minute to express my sincere gratitude to everyone that ever walked through our doors. I took a leap of faith in quitting my corporate job and opening something that would give me purpose and make me feel good helping others.

Without having Stefan’s help, we wouldn’t have made it as far as we did. He also took a leap of faith by quitting his job to work for me.

My oldest son sent me the following message:

Hi i just wanted to say that Im very proud of you, you took a risk opening your own restaurant and it was loved by many. I loved helping when i was back home. Sorry that it didn’t work out because of other things. You had a dream and did it and that’s something to be proud of.

Having your child be proud of you makes everything worth the risk. If nothing else comes out of this, at least my children were able to witness taking chances in life don’t always work out the way you think they will. But it doesn’t mean that you should not try. Tomorrow isn’t promised and we all deserve to be proud of ourselves for being able to make a difference in life.

I learned a lot by having my own business. I met amazing people who made each day brighter. I will miss you all.

In closing, if anyone needs any tomato soup for an event (it doesn’t freeze well because it has cream in it) or cookies, let me know. 😊

It’s Friday!

Today is the last day we will turn our open sign on.

We will be permanently closed after today.

We still have bacon, corned beef, pastrami, bologna, ham and roast beef, as well as salads.

The tomato soup is limited so if it is your thing, come grab some before it’s gone.

Sausage breakfast bagels are $6.

I want to thank you all for your kind words of support. It means the world to the both of us.

We are so grateful to have had this short time to share with you all. There are really no words to express how thankful we are.

Hey all.

Friday, June 19th will be our last day of business. 😭

Currently we have Reuben’s. Corned beef and pastrami.

We have bacon, bologna, ham, roast beef besides the above.

You have no idea how difficult this is to even post. I have put so much work into this and now I must reculantly close. Big story short… I have run out of money.

We have had so much fun serving you all and made so many friends. I thank you for all of your support.

We have T-shirts for $10. Please be patient with us. We are doing the best we can.

Well it’s Thursday!

I am running out of things to say on this page. The more product we run out of, the sadder I get. 😞😭

We have fresh Mac salad …..
