A quick update on our progress.

We are starting from bare bones at this point. Please know that we look forward to building back better than ever. In the mean time, we appreciate the continued thoughts and prayers as we navigate the process of remodeling!

We have a number of people to thank for the success we encountered with the fundraiser yesterday at Zaxbys.

Let’s begin with Zaxbys! First of all, we are beyond thankful for your blessing! Thank you for your kindness and for thinking of us during this time of need. We are beyond blessed with your donation.

The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, thank you! Thank you for your support during this time. We appreciate the actions you took to spread the word about this event.

To our lovely customers; thank you for showing up and supporting us and Zaxbys for this event! Your love and support you have shown to our family during this time does not go unnoticed.

We also want to say thank you to all of you in private community Facebook groups who shared this event. We spoke with several people at Zaxbys yesterday who heard about this event on a WCU Parents page.

This event couldn’t have happened without the initial kindness and outreach from Zaxbys, our Commerce for spreading the word and supporting our local businesses, and YOU! So from the bottom of our hearts, Thank you!

We at Bogarts want to say thank you for all the kind words and messages sent our way! Please know they have not gone unnoticed!

Many of you have asked how you can help. If you aren’t aware, Zaxbys of Sylva is donating 30% of their sales tomorrow, Aug 19th to help the employees of Bogarts. We ask all of you to go and support Zaxbys so they can help our employees during this unforeseen and unfortunate time.

We appreciate you all and ask that you continue to support local. We look forward to seeing and serving you all again soon.!

Servepro is working tirelessly to repair everything that was damaged in the fire. We still have a long way to go but we will continue to keep the community informed on the progress. Once again much love to the community for your continuous support.

We as a staff at Bogarts want to extend a huge thank you to all of the Sylva first responders and all emergency workers who were on scene on Thursday to help put out the fire! We are blessed by the hard work that these men and women put in every day! We also want to extend our thanks to you, the community, for your out pouring of love and support during this extremely difficult time. It means the world to us. Bogarts exists and always has to serve and benefit the community. We love you and we will keep the community up to date with the progress and what the next steps are going forward.

There was a grease fire that got out of hand and got into the hood system. All staff and customers are accounted for and safe. Thank you for the concern and we will keep everyone updated on next steps.
