Our hearts are broken to hear of the passing of our friend and fellow food truck owner, Renee, of Midlife Frysis Food Truck. 💔
When we first started Scott’s Tots four years ago, Renee was the very first food truck owner we had the pleasure of getting to know. She welcomed us with open arms, shared advice, offered helpful tips, and never hesitated to lend a hand or share a little wisdom with us as we were finding our way.
If you knew Renee, you know she was truly one of a kind. She had the sweetest heart, the brightest energy, and a personality that could light up just about anywhere she went. She spoke her mind, stood by what she believed, and was never afraid to tell it like it was. And we loved that about her! You couldn’t help but smile after spending a few minutes talking with her. She just had that effect on people.
It’s the little things we’re going to miss the most. Passing her on the road almost every single day, headed in opposite directions to our food truck locations, and exchanging our usual waves and honks. Setting up alongside her at events, catching up between customers, sharing laughs, and just enjoying those moments together.
The food truck community has lost a wonderful person, and our hearts are heavy knowing we won’t see that familiar smile or hear that familiar honk coming down the road again.
Renee, thank you for your kindness, your friendship, your encouragement, and for simply being YOU. We are so thankful our paths crossed. You made a difference in our journey, and we will always remember you for that.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Rest easy, sweet friend. You’ll be missed!
With love,
Your friends at Scott’s Tots ❤️
