A LITTLE “HANG WITH ME” MOMENT 🤎
I feel like this month has been a little bit of a whirlwind, and I just wanted to be honest with you all for a minute
The last few weeks have looked very different than I had planned. We’ve had weekends where I’ve had to close, weekends where I’ve been able to open. & now unfortunately, I need to make another last minute change and close this upcoming weekend and the couple weekends after; as well some personal family appointments and trips to attend!
I know the inconsistency probably feels a little confusing, and I truly am sorry for all of the last minute changes. It’s never easy for me to close the stand, especially when I know some of you make plans to stop by, look forward to your favorites, or even drive a little out of your way to visit me.
But lately, life has just been LIFE-ING. We have some sickness running through our house, some really exhausting days, and honestly just a lot going on behind the scenes! I’m doing my best to juggle being a mom, taking care of my family, keeping up with the bakery, and everything else life throws at us. Some days I feel like I’m keeping all the balls in the air, and other days… well, a few of them are definitely hitting the floor🥴
And then there was this past weekend. After being closed for two weeks, I was honestly a little nervous about what the weekend would look like… But you guys showed up 🤍 You bought my goodies, supported my little bakery, left so many kind notes, and we SOLD OUT. My heart was so full. It was such a sweet reminder of why I love doing this so much.
This bakery is so much more than just baking for me. It’s something I’ve poured so much love, time, and heart into. So when I have to step back, even temporarily, it’s hard for me too.
So I’m asking you to hang with me a little bit. Give me some grace while I navigate this season. I promise I’m not going anywhere yet!
The stand will have two more weekends open in October & then of course a couple of local art shows/sales around the holidays! I am already looking forward to being back, filling the stand with all the fall goodies that you love, and seeing your faces!
Thank you for sticking with me. Thank you for understanding when life doesn’t go according to plan. And thank you for continuing to support this little dream of mine even through the messy seasons.
