You will be missed!

There are some posts you never want to write, and this is one of them.

Yesterday, our pier family lost one of our own. Kenny "Big'un" Phillips passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled.

Anyone who spent time at the pier likely knew Big’un or knew of him. He was a familiar face, a friend, and a part of what made this place feel like home. We know we are not the only ones grieving this loss, and we know there are many people whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and friendship.

At this time, no arrangements have been made as the family is still processing this unexpected loss. We will share additional information as it becomes available.

Please keep Big’un’s family, friends, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Thankful for the great day yesterday! We have the best staff- down 2 servers and a cook, but we pulled together!

We realize at times it took longer to get the food prepared and just wanted everyone to realize we were doing our best with the staff we had.

*****Just a reminder - please don’t touch our staff - it makes some feel very uncomfortable. To get their attention, simple say “excuse me” or “can I ask a question”. Be kind and keep your hands to yourself*****
