Retirement has been amazing. The grass is, in fact, greener on the other side. Here is the news!!! I accepted a job as the Director of Business Management and Deputy Operations Officer/Chief of Staff for Crisis Response Company LLC. It’s an Aggie / Veteran run small business that provides innovative and creative solutions for construction, logistics, professional advisory, and military training. The caliber of people that I get to work with is top tier and I am grateful beyond measure to be part of this team. What else does it mean!!? Dallas, Northlake, here we come. The Romer family will be making a big move (first one not directed by the Marine Corps) next summer.

Today I hiked to the top of grandfather mountain with a group of friends for our 9/11 workout. During the hike I reflected… 25 years ago I was walking back from the r***e range during recruit training at Parris Island SC. Everything changed that day. I saw recruits pulled from the company after the Bn commander and chaplain notified everyone. The depot was on lock down and we could tell the drill instructors were anxious. My first unit was 11th Marines and their mindset had already shifted. We weren’t just training to do our jobs we were actually training to deploy and go to combat. Today we commemorate and remember those who lost their lives that day and the bravery of those who ran into the towers to save people. Please take a moment to remember them.

Just signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. They saw my capabilities as a warfighter and knew they needed me on their roster. We are still working out some details so I won’t be on the field for a few games.

“Things I’ve never heard a Raider Say on social media for 500 Pat”. Claiming to be a raider, claiming to have a silver star. I hope the 12.4 thousand people that follow this dudes page see him and the page for what it really is. It’s not memes. It might be now but as he attacks people in the comments and tries to become a Temu notinregz, his mission is clear… he’s already changed his bio. People are ridiculous

1 year ago today we delivered this to Fort Brag to be presented to Paula Knauss Selph In such tragedy it was an honor to help honor her son. I want to thank everyone who had a hand in making this happen. This is what Bells is all about. Giving back to those who have lost more than we can ever imagine in honor and memory of SSgt Vincent Bell.
