In mid-August we took a trip to Four Winds Farm Fitchburg to visit our friends and pick up some incredibly fresh and aromatic whole cone Centennial hops. We rushed these hops back and got them in a b**r asap and the result is on tap now! FIRST PICKED 2026 is pouring in all of it’s hazy, citrusy glory! Head Brewer Bill repurposed the 10 barrel lauter tun in the brewery to steep the fresh hops in at the end of the boil, squeezing all the lupulin soaked greatness in them for your drinking pleasure. For good measure he added a touch of Tangier and Amarillo hops to take things up another notch. Stop on in and grab a pint or a 4 pack of our new, fresh hop, 6.5% ABV hazy IPA!

Oktoberfest starts today at 10AM here in Downtown Sun Prairie! We’ll have our two Oktoberfest la**rs pouring: OKTOBERFEST Märzen-style l***r and FESTBIER Blonde Fest l***r! Our Marzen is an amber l***r that is based on the traditional b**rs served the tents at the Munich Oktoberfest - maltier, breadier and deep amber at 6.4% ABV. The Festbier is the modern take on the lighter, blonde l***r served at Oktoberfest in Munich and clocks in at 6.6% ABV. In addition to these pristine Fall la**rs we have our Pork Jagerschnitzel, a breaded pork cutlet with Märzen mushroom gravy, served with Märzen-braised red cabbage and buttered spätzle. We’ll have our Bavarian Wurst platter, soft pretzels and Landjagers available too! Madtown Mannish Boys hit the stage at 6PM. New Feature Menu items! THAI CHILI FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH! What!? 😲 Our extremely delicious fried chicken sandwich tossed in Thai chili sauce with Asian slaw, pickles and your choice of side. Sooo good. Not spicy, just right. And our new JALAPENO POPPER BURGER, it hits juuuust right. Double smash patties with a dusting of blackening spices, bacon and roasted jalapeño jam cream cheese, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and your choice of side. 🤯🤯🤯 Come n get ’em!

Ohhhh boy! Oktoberfest season is nearly upon us! Can you feel it? We sure can. Won’t you join us on Saturday, September 19th for a day full of polka, German Bierhall food, TWO fresh, different Oktoberfest la**rs: Oktoberfest Märzen and Festbier Fest-style Bavarian L***r. If you get tired of polka (hmmmm…not possible?) we’ll have the Madtown Mannish Boys sliding in and hitting the stage at 6PM to bring the down and dirty blues to Downtown Sun Prairie for three solid hours! Make sure you stop on through. Prost!

We’re pretty darn excited to let y’all know that the latest (and second!) version of STUPID SEXY FLANDERS, our Flanders Red Ale, is now on tap here in Downtown Sun Prairie and available in cans to take with you. Inspired by the classic sour red ales of Belgium — Rodenbach and Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe - Vichte, to name a couple — this b**r is fermented with a mix of Brettanomyces and lactic acid-producing bacteria, then aged for sixteen months in a combination of white w**e and Driftless Glen Distillery bourbon barrels. The result is tart, complex and a little bit w**e-like, with layers of plum and raspberry alongside spice, clove, citrus and subtle oak. A dry, zesty finish keeps things crisp, lively and remarkably refreshing. Give it a try next time you stop by!
