Scams are getting more frequent and more subtle. Please remember to warn your elderly neighbors, friends, and family as well as the young ones also. The police will NEVER call you to collect money or threaten you about a warrant. Don’t meet someone from a phone call anywhere. We are getting calls requesting (more like threatening) to meet somewhere (scammers will choose places near ATM’s) They say pay or be arrested. Most of us know a scam when it sounds like this, but not everyone does. The danger of having your money taken, or the possibility of having a person kidnapped is terrifying. Let’s help each other keep our community safe. Share the new scams you hear about so we can warn people before they fall victim.
