Good Morning Country Boy family!!!
It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the closing of Country Boy BBQ. This has been a wonderful experience, and I am so thankful and grateful to have met and served all of you. Getting to know many of you on a personal level makes this even harder. I am truly going to miss all of my regular customers and the moments we shared discussing family, friends, jobs, and more.
With the rising cost of goods and overhead and the diminished patronage, my family and I have decided that it is best to close our retail location. However, we will continue to operate special events and catering services and may open another store front eventually.
This is not goodbye but see you later. Thank you all so much for the incredible support you have shown us over the years. Your loyalty and friendship have meant the world to us.

I wish I could fix this for you guys! One day I will have a place where this can be on the menu. I love BBQ it’s in my blood but I love to explore other cultures cuisines and create interesting mashups.

Tonight I made the fam seared tuna salad with wasabi vinaigrette dressing for dinner.

Started with organic spring mix, carrots shutes, red onion, and English cucumber tossed in a wasabi vinaigrette dressing. Finished off with a half of an avocado and crowned with seared AAA sushi grade tuna.

Wish I had made more because everyone was ready for seconds.

Fried fish Friday y’all!!! We are cooking up some delicious goodies for y’all today, so make sure you bring your appetite. We will have our traditional Eastern Carolina chopped BBQ, fried fish dinner, fried pork chop dinner, Nana’s fried chicken dinner, shrimp poboy combo with 1 side, chicken wrap with 1 side, and 6pc jumbo fried shrimp plate.

Don’t forget we have an amazing breakfast selection as well and fresh baked bagels with our house made spreads.

Y’all might call her GG, MaMah, MeMah, Nana, Granny, Big Momma, or just Grandma but we all one and we have some dish that reminds us of her. Some of my fondest memories are Sunday dinner at Grandma’s house. So today I’m fixing some of her favorites!
Today’s Specials is like stepping back in time and being at Grandma’s house after church.
