An Important Announcement from The Square Pub
To our friends, family, and the Sullivan community,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Saturday, October 10, will be the final day of business for The Square Pub, just one day before our three-year anniversary.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and while there is much we could say, we want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey.
First, thank you to the people of Sullivan and the surrounding communities for your support, loyalty, and encouragement over the past three years. We have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people, building lasting friendships, and welcoming many of you as more than customers. You have become part of our extended family, and for that, we are truly grateful.
To our current and former employees, thank you for everything you have contributed to The Square Pub. Your dedication, hard work, positive attitudes, and loyalty through both the good times and the challenges have meant more than words can express. You are the heart of this establishment, and we could not have built what we did without you. We are incredibly proud of the team we have had the privilege of working alongside.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the City of Sullivan for giving us the opportunity to be part of this community and for taking a chance on us. We will always appreciate the opportunity we were given.
Although our time operating The Square Pub is coming to an end, the building will remain available for anyone interested in pursuing this location. We sincerely hope someone will see the potential in this space and carry it forward, creating new opportunities and memories for the community.
We would also like to ask our fellow local business owners and employers to please consider our team members should they be looking for new employment opportunities. They are hardworking, dependable, dedicated individuals who deserve every opportunity to succeed in their next chapter.
Closing this chapter is not easy. Over the past three years, The Square Pub has been about much more than serving food. It has been about community, connection, celebrations, friendships, and the memories made within these walls. We will carry those memories with us long after our doors close.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be part of Sullivan and for supporting us throughout this journey. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten.
This may be goodbye for now, but it is not goodbye forever.
