And during our happiest hours, they’re just $1 — every day from 3-6pm and all day Saturday at the bar!

What’s dinner without dessert??

Our homemade ice cream is made right here at hT in small batches every week, with flavors like classic vanilla, moka java, white chocolate bourbon + dark chocolate.

A little scoop can’t hurt… save room for dessert.

It’s always nice to go home! Harper spent the weekend in Franklin showing some love to the place he grew up and cooking with old and new friends at the Homegrown Harvest Festival!

Friday night we grilled massive River Road tomahawk steaks over a wood fire.

Then Saturday we celebrated the end of summer with Johnson & Sons softshell crabs fried in a cauldron over the coals. Wild right?!? We served those crispy little suckers on a butterbean salad with country ham, lots of herbs and the last little tomatoes. Of course we brought remoulade for folks to dip ‘em in.

A special thank you to Marshall Rabil and Kip Poole for your hard work to make this happen! Y’all gotta come see Marshall dancing in the cornfield next year!

A few pictures from a pretty cool night for hT!

Harper + Mary spent last night at Beard at the Beach for the James Beard Foundation! A night bringing together chefs from across Coastal Virginia for a multi-course dinner celebrating the killer food and talent of our region.

These photos are just a little snapshot of the evening as a whole, featuring dishes from several of the talented chefs who were part of the event!

It’s always fun to get out of Suffolk for a night, cook alongside some incredibly talented people and represent Harper’s Table while doing it. Thanks to everyone who made Beard at the Beach such a great night!
