🎉IT’S OFFICIAL🎉

We are beyond excited to announce that the Ooluru is OFFICIALLY moving to Green Bay!!!

As of this morning we finally closed on the Chefusion building on broadway street! We will be starting renovations this week. These renovations will continue to partake over the next couple months.

We decided as a family that it was time to make the move to Green Bay as this will allow our ability to grow and change. This includes more seating, a bigger kitchen which means a menu that can cater to more, and a more central location in hopes of reaching more people!

As we get closer to finalizing renovations, menu, and hours, we will update everyone as soon as we can!

The Ooluru will continue to operate until September 20th Friday through Sunday in our current Door County location.

Anyways…

We recently hired two new employees that are new to the area and will be helping us until we are done this season!

Ryan (just 15 years old!) came to us expressing interest in learning how to make pizzas from scratch with a dream to become a chef one day! Here are some of his creations from this past weekend! We are so excited to have him with us until the end! Join us in cheering on Ryan in his new chef adventures!! 💛☀️👨‍🍳

Following a mediation held on June 14, 2026,
representatives from Wild Tomato Pizza and Ooluru Pizza, formerly known as Wild Man Pizza,
reached a mutually agreeable resolution and established a positive path forward for both
businesses and their employees.
Both parties are pleased with the outcome and view the situation as a valuable learning
experience. The mediation provided an opportunity to address concerns directly, clarify each business’s position, and move forward in a respectful and constructive manner.
Both businesses recognize that social media provides an important platform for communication and freedom of expression. However, neither Wild Tomato Pizza nor Ooluru Pizza condones, supports, or encourages defamation, threats, violence, harassment, or personal attacks of any kind. Both businesses have united, collectively analyzed both positive and negative “social media comments”, and understand we as Business Owners need to lead a cause for positive and constructive discussion and comments. There is no need for negative and amplified negative, hate speech and claims of violence. We are a united Door County Community of local businesses, and will always work together to ensure a positive environment and outcome for all parties.
Wild Tomato Pizza will continue its longstanding “Wild” tradition, brand identity, and marketing
efforts. Wild Man Pizza has transitioned to the name Ooluru Pizza, which its ownership has
shared is a better reflection of the business and its future direction.
As locally owned businesses, Wild Tomato Pizza and Ooluru Pizza are grateful for the support
they have received from the Door County community. Both organizations remain committed to supporting their employees, customers, fellow business owners, and the broader local
community.
Wild Tomato Pizza and Ooluru Pizza appreciate the opportunity to move forward with mutual
respect and wish one another continued success.

The Ooluru

Pronounced “Oo-loo-roo”

And what does it mean?

A fresh new take on a historical site called “The Uluru” known for its dramatic color changes at sunrise and sunset. The Uluru homes the local Anangu people.

So why did we pick that and change the writing?

Like the Uluru dramatic color change, our family has become very custom to dramatic changes. Since opening the our first business, Red Oak Winery, we have had 3 different locations, expanding wine menu, label rebrands, traditional wine tasting to wine flights, adding our pizza place and so much more. We’ve experienced loss and we’ve also gained so much. Employees who are family, local customers who are now friends, and so much more.

And the honest truth, we will keep changing. And to us that has become the exciting part of being a business owner instead of the daunting scary truth of the unknown. We have so many updates coming, so many menu changes, and many more “changes” that we can’t wait for all to experience.

So while new things can be scary and confusing, the Ooluru is about embracing the unknown and accepting that life is about changes. A lot can change from sunrise to sunset.

Welcome to the Ooluru ☀️
