John Fletcher has been my friend for over two decades. I have known him as the Chef for a competitor, a chef for restaurants that I managed and most importantly as my friend. He is an incredible Chef. He's also an incredible human. He visited my restaurant and made a couple of specials for us while he was on vacation, that's how passionate he is about food and friends. I have visited his restaurant every time I have been in the area since it opened. It is incredible, a tiny restaurant in Norris that does everything right. When you eat there, you know the person who prepared your food cares about every dish. As the owner of Vega, he gives back to his community by providing hundreds of meals to whoever is hungry every Thanksgiving. He is an awesome HUMAN! Fletch is currently battling cancer. I know exactly how this impacts a business, as Joan and I went through it. We weathered the storm, only to be shuttered by the pandemic. Let's make sure Fletch has a chance to recover. He needs our help. I rarely ask this of my friends, but please consider this cause. Ken

John Fletcher has been my friend for over two decades. I have known him as the Chef for a competitor, a chef for restaurants that I managed and most importantly as my friend. Many of you have reached out over the last few years asking if we might ever reopen. We are going in other directions and don't anticipate that ever happening. Others have asked where we would recommend for BBQ that might be on the level we produced. I was never able to make a recommendation, nobody did it at the uncompromising level we did. That just changed. I was getting my phone repaired at Promenade center in Palm Beach Gardens, and noticed a BBQ place next door. I noticed the hours were the same as ours had been, 11am until the meat sells out. I immediately bought a half a pound of Brisket to take out. I am thrilled to tell you all that they totally deliver. I have only tried the brisket so far, but it's what you judge a BBQ place on, and it is MONEY! I smoke my own at home now, but I'll be back to this place anytime I don't want to cook, or if I'm in the area. I'll tell you about other items when I return, but don't hesitate to visit them and let me know what you think of their other offerings. Please support this small business that's doing everything right. The place?

Hello friends!

I haven't posted here since we closed, but I have some great news for brisket lovers out there!

No, we're not coming back. Joan, Katherine and I are on other journey's now. It was a pleasure serving all of you, but Stuart's Fish & Pig is done.

Many of you have contacted us, asking where to get great BBQ. We have never had a recommendation until today. I wholeheartedly recommend NEV'S BBQ.

I was getting my phone repaired in the Promenade center in Palm Beach Gardens this week, and I spotted this BBQ joint. I had heard of them, but that's all. I'm a real skeptic, and really critical as you would imagine. The sign on the door hooked me. Hours: 11 AM until the meat runs out. Rings a bell, doesn't it?

I immediately walked in and purchased a 1/2 pound of fatty brisket. It is MONEY my friends. As good as mine, which means it's some of the best I've ever had. I am so happy to see someone being as uncompromising as we were. PLEASE support them. Doing business at an uncompromising level requires fans.

I only tried their brisket, will let you know about other items as I try them. Links to their pages follow.

We are sad to announce that we will be closing our doors as of this Thursday. It's a difficult decision, but business has plummeted in the past two weeks to about half what we did the same time period last year. We simply can't pay the bills at this level. It's been a real pleasure to serve all of you and we'll miss seeing you. We'll be open tomorrow for our final day with a limited menu. We will have Brisket, Pork and Pastrami while it lasts. Please come see us one last time if you can. Perhaps when the virus subsides we'll be able to open again. In the mean time thanks for your support. Stay well friends! Joan, Katherine and Ken.

Merry Christmas! We're closed for Christmas, but we'll be putting meat on the smoker Christmas night, and we'll have mouthwatering brisket and pulled pork available on Thursday, until it sells out. The best to you, your friends and family!
