So you want to know some of the reasons we have to charge what we do for our meals?

Had a party back during the winter, 206.00 for meals, drinks, merchandise, tips, and taxes. Paid with a credit card, received card authorization, and had customer sign it.

Then we get notified that the customer disputed the charge as not being authorized! we disputed it sent copies of reciept with authorization and signature. Just was informed that we lost the dispute! So 206.00 plus a penalty for getting a charge back and we lost out on nearly 250.00. Thats more than our entire profit that day!

So yes we have to account for those wonderful people.

Lots of goodies today. Strawberry jelly donuts, cannoli filled donuts plus all the usual ones. Muffins, cookies, croissants and more. Coffee is on come on in before they are all gone!

We are getting excited for this year's Stratton/Eustis Fun Day on Saturdat June 27th! Miss Flagstaff Lake Pagent, America 250 parade. Vendors, Fireworks and more. We will be serving breakfast that morning from 7am to 11am. We will e closed for lunch as we will be setting up to serve Lobster Rolls at the event after the parade ends.

You know what’s wrong with our country today? When I was a kid and I did something stupid the neighbor that caught me would reprimand me, then they would call my mother and all hell would break loose when I got home. But that was nothing compared to when dad got home from work!
