It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our dear friend and partner, Jay Piccirillo.

To know Jay was to love him. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone stopping by for your first Italian ice, he made you feel welcome, valued, and like family.

Jay was a true pillar of the community, always giving and showing up for others. His presence will be deeply missed by all of us here at Micalizzi’s Stratford and by so many throughout Bridgeport and beyond.

Our hearts go out to Jay’s family during this unimaginable time, especially his beloved son, who was the light of his life. We send our deepest condolences, love, and strength to all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Jay. You’ll always be in our hearts

Despite recent set backs…
Micalizzi Stratford is carrying on the tradition of ice cream for breakfast!
Join us Tuesday June 11th from 7am to 9am at our STRATFORD LOCATION in Paradise Green 🍦
We will have our truck outside our store to serve all your favorite flavors as well as milk shakes, sundaes, and more!!

We are completely shocked and devastated. We love our community and appreciate our loyal customers. You can continue to support our families by visiting MICALIZZI'S ITALIAN ICE and Zack's Frozen Yogurt. Thank you and we hope to see you all again soon

We are deeply saddened to announce Micalizzi Stratford is temporarily closed due to a devastating fire this morning. Thankfully, no injuries occurred. We thank the local fire departments for their service. The investigation is ongoing, and a reopening date is unknown at this time. We appreciate our loyal customers and hope to serve all of you again soon.
