Hello Everyone,
A lot of people have been asking when the former Nauti Norske space will re-open. Well here's the scoop:

The new owners are going to be open this weekend as the "Water Street Tavern" to do a "Sneak Peek" with a limited food and beverage menu for the Syttende Mai celebration.
They will be open from 3pm to 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
After this weekend the Water Street Tavern will be operating in a limited fashion, with the hopes of expanding their hours and services, as construction and staffing allow.

The new owners and the staff of the Water Street Tavern are very excited to welcome you and the entire community of Stoughton into their new space and hope to have a fun filled "Sneak Peek" weekend with all of you.

The kitchen will not be open. Bar only!

The Nauti Norske is under contract to be sold and will soon be open full-time with new owners. We are very excited about the future of the Nauti Norske.

Hello to all you Nauti ones.
Kathy Jo and I really want to thank everyone for their continued support. The reason we are closing down the Nauti Norske indefinitely at this time is because we have been unable to find people to work and staff it properly. Yes, the Nauti Norske has been very busy this summer. Because it has been so busy, those who were willing to work were forced to work long and demanding hours. Over the the last several weeks we have also lost several employees who went back to college and others who left for other new endeavors. Unfortunately we have been unable to find any new employees to replace them. This only led to further stress on our workers and we are now down to one full time person and three part time helpers. As a result, we have decided that we can not open the Nauti Norske and risk providing a less quality experience to our guests. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone. And we sincerely hope this does not become the end of the Nauti Norske. Again, we thank you for your continued support. Sincerely, David and KJ.

It is with so many mixed emotions that I write this. After today the Nauti Norske will be closed indefinitely. We want to thank our employees and all of you, our wonderful guests. Many of you have become more like family. We love you and want you to know how much we appreciate you.
