Today, we’re celebrating one of the incredible people who always makes Wissota Chophouse a warm, welcoming experience: Brenda!

Brenda is one of our amazing servers here at Wissota, and when she's out of the restaurant, she is shaping young minds as a 1st grade school teacher 🏫

With over 30 years in education, Brenda has spent decades teaching, encouraging, challenging, and cheering on generations of students. And somehow, she still shows up to Wissota and absolutely kills it on the floor. 👏

The same warmth, patience, attention to detail, and genuine care she brings to her students is exactly what she brings to our guests.

Brenda, thank you for the countless years you've poured into education, and for bringing that same incredible energy to Wissota.

This weekend’s features are bringing a little heat 🔥

Crispy Calamari & Jalapeños — Tender calamari and fresh jalapeño coins fried until golden and crisp, and sprinkled with grated romano cheese. Served with our house-made spicy Calabrian chili tomato sauce for dipping.

Lamb Chops — Seared lamb chops served over a silky spiced parsnip purée and finished with a bright mint-jalapeño chimichurri. Rich, savory, fresh and just the right amount of heat.

Chili weather has officially arrived 🍂

This weekend we’re serving up Loaded Wagyu Chili — rich ground Wagyu simmered with tomatoes, peppers, beans, guajillo chiles, and plenty of warm spices.

Finished with shredded cheddar, scallion-lime crema, and crispy fried onion strings for a little cool, creamy, crunchy contrast.

Crispy skin, tender duck, and all the flavors we’ve been waiting for as the seasons start to change.

Our seared duck breast is served over silky celery root and fennel purée with sautéed rainbow chard, then finished with a rich port w**e demi glace. The earthy vegetables and savory duck meet just the right touch of sweetness for a plate that feels like fall without getting too heavy.

This recognition belongs to our entire team. From the kitchen to the dining room and everyone working behind the scenes, it takes a group of people who genuinely care about what they do to make this restaurant what it is.

Our Southwest Flatbread is layered with roasted poblano cream, chorizo, fresh mozzarella, sweet corn, pickled red onion, and cilantro.
