Community over competition. 🤍

I’ve known Heather since I was teen. I still remember meeting her and borrowing a prom dress from her 😆. Life has a funny way of bringing people back around.

Being a small business owner can be hard. It’s hard to know who is truly rooting for you. It’s hard to know which direction to take, who to trust, and who you can count on when things get overwhelming.

Yesterday, I was honored to photograph their very first EVER Legacy on the Go event! Supporting the beautiful work of Transact Hope.

This was a reminder of something I think we all need sometimes:

We are stronger together.

There is room for ALL OF US. Room to cheer each other on, share opportunities, celebrate each other’s wins, and show up when it matters.

Community doesn’t mean competition disappears. It means we choose to believe that another person’s success doesn’t take anything away from our own.

I’m so grateful our paths crossed all those years ago, and even more grateful that tonight I got to be there behind the camera, supporting something so meaningful.

Here’s to women supporting women, small businesses supporting small businesses, and choosing community over competition. 🖤🧄
