My salad greens are so good this year! Even the kale is really tender for salads.

The pic of the plate of food was delicious and deserved a name, as I will definitely make it again. I call it, Beef Salad Salad. Lol!

I got a London broil at the store by mistake. Thought I grabbed a fatty roast to cook a long time, so I overcooked the London Broil!

Instead of wasting that expensive hunka beef, I cut it up, and threw it in the food processor with some mayo, sour cream, and other secret things to make a delicious, full-of-flavor beef pâté, or beef salad. Yay!

Roasted chicken last night with garlic chives & green onion mashed. (Disguising that I didn’t peel the potatoes.)

Tonight creamed chicken with leftover mushrooms & frozen peas (and no cream).

Hey, all! Just wanted to let you know I won’t start cooking at the The Kitchen Incubator of NW IL until July, so you’ll be seeing my posts in a few weeks. (Food permits have gotten crazy expensive and go to half price next month for half a year. Ugh!)

Well I’m back at The Kitchen Incubator of Northwestern Illinois starting Sunday, June 7! I could only get one day a week for now, so not a big menu.

Tortilla chips, guacamole, FRESH salsa, and breakfast burritos to start. Get your preorders in! I’ll remind yall again this Monday, June 1, so I know how many avocados to buy.

All carry out—from The Kitchen, or my house in Sterling if after 1 o’clock. Yay!!

Smoked up a storm this weekend! Chops, and chicken with a little potato salad! Oh, and some biscuits & gravy to build up my energy to be at the grill. I used real chopped wood.

I’ll be finding out toward the end of the week when I can start back at the Kitchen! I can’t wait to cook for yall again.
