Stephentown Food Pantry - Year-to-Date Stats as of June 30, 2025

The Stephentown Food Pantry has an annual budget of approximately $30K. Of that, $26K is spent on food. This year we are serving 60 families, with more expected to come for help as the year progresses. We need your help in whatever amount or way you are comfortable giving.

The Stephentown Food Pantry is in need of new volunteers to help us serve the needs of our community.

We provide food for families in need in the towns of Stephentown and Hancock. The number of families we serve has grown over the past several years from approximately 35 to 64. We have also, sadly, lost valuable Pantry volunteers.

Each week, three volunteers come to help those who visit the Pantry. If you can give approximately three hours on a Saturday morning, one or two times a month, we would be very grateful.
Your responsibilities would include setting up, guiding families (one at a time) around the Pantry to make their selections, and then cleaning up. We start this process at 8:30 and are done by 11:30. Three volunteers are needed each week to accomodate the volume of families we have.
