Hi everyone! Please read to understand where the proceeds from our tea events go. Meet Ziggy. Ziggy is one of the cats at Wendy's Place Cat Rescue, which we also run. Ziggy is currently very sick and his vet bills are stacking up. At the moment he doesn’t have a definitive diagnosis, but we’ll update once he does. This Saturday, April 4, we’ll be hosting an Easter Tea here at the Frederick House. All proceeds from this tea will go directly to Wendy’s Place, and specifically, to Ziggy’s vet bills. If you can’t make it to our tea, but would still like to help, you can donate directly to Wendy’s Place via PayPal or Venmo, or by purchasing something from our Amazon wishlist.

Charlie was never meant to live beyond 3 months old, yet here he is at 2 1/2 years old showing no signs of slowing down! We never would have been able to provide Charlie with top of the line care if it wasn’t for our supporters. It was truly only through your donations that we were able to save him.

Charlie was found on a road as a very sick kitten and brought to us. Testing positive for both FIV and FeLV he was literally hours away from death when we raced him to a specialist and opted to do a blood transfusion to buy him more time. (For more specific details click .) Charlie fully recovered and now tests NEGATIVE for FeLV. He’s still FIV+. He is truly our miracle kitten.
