Longer post than normal… First I would like to say THANK YOU to this community for supporting us for the last 10 years. We started off as a small little cart at the 4th of July at Millcreek. We had no idea if our idea and concept was going to work. We were so nervous. We had invested thousands in a shaver, generator, syrup, building the cart. Buying artwork, spoons, cups, all the things. The first 45 minutes were literally crickets. I remember having my children make one and go walk around just so people could see what we were selling. Then all of a sudden we had a line and it didn’t stop until the fireworks started!! I was so relieved that I hadn’t let my family down with this idea. They believed in me even when I didn’t always believe in myself. They have put countless sweat equity into helping me run this business. I’ve literally gotten to watch children grow up. Seeing them at daycare, Summer camps, schools. The laughter , the smiles, the chants of “ Wavee Shavee Wavee Shavee “ as I pull up. The birthday parties that I’ve done- many year after year after year! Because of your support, we’ve been able to donate back thousands and thousands of dollars to our local schools and support local charities. Thank you for 10 wonderful years. With that being said, as we enter our 11 th year, I want to say thank you. So we have partnered up with Anderson's General Store of Statesboro to throw a back to school bash. It will be this Friday from 3-7 pm. We will serve FREE shave ice and Andersons will have some wonderful back to school specials as well as a giveaway! So come get your free Shave ice this Friday, get some shopping done , and we look forward to what year 11 has in store for us!
