Mother Mousse was an idea created by best friends Teri Rutigliano and Joan Sheheen back in 1983. They're goal was to make outstanding, delicious, homemade cakes that would make Staten Island proud. They started their business working out of Teri's basement and eventually moved on up to a storefront on Vanduzer Street in Stapleton. Over the years Mother Mousse's high quality cakes became such a hit

that they opened up two locations that have become Staten Island staples. They are dedicated to produces only the finest desserts for your very special occasions.
