One door closes and another one opens…

The Neon Loon signing off with a HUGE thank you to everyone who made this little place what we loved! Not just about coffee, it was always about people.

Let’s give HUGE cheer for Full Circle Farm taking over 108 E. 5th St. 🌾 Thankful for their passion to bring farm fresh goods to Starbuck! (And coffee too!) Come check them out beginning of June!

Wow… what a week already. ❤️

As we head into our FINAL day as The Neon Loon this Saturday, May 16, we are feeling all the emotions. The love, support (and long lines) these past few days have meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

Because of the incredible turnout, we have officially tapped out of many menu items already — and we just want to say THANK YOU for your patience and understanding as we work through these last days together.

Saturday will feature a LIMITED food menu available first come, first served while supplies last:

☀️ Sourdough bread (or bagel) breakfast sandwiches
☀️ Bagel & cream cheese
☀️ Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap
☀️ Loony Wrap
☀️ Shaker Salads
☀️ Dave’s Chicken Salad
• served on a bed of greens or as a wrap (sorry no croissants or cran wild rice)
• also available in 8oz, 16oz, or 32oz containers to take home

And don’t worry… the bakery case will still be loaded up with goodies 😍

We may run out of items throughout the day as we sell through inventory, so everything will be available while supplies last.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving this little coffee shop so deeply. Saturday may be our final day before we hand over the keys in June to Full Circle Farm, but the memories made here will stay with us forever. ❤️

You guys, we’re having a hard time.

On Friday evening I delivered flour south of Glenwood, about 10 miles from our farm. The next morning I got a message saying that someone had seen a black cat on the top of our van as I was pulling into the driveway. It was Bear. He was seen as he jumped off and headed into the nearest woods, I had no idea and can’t believe he rode that far. And the crazy thing is he’s done this before. Yesterday we looked high and low, nothing. The last he was seen is south of Glenwood 5 minutes west of 104 (county rd 16). If you could help spread the word to anyone who lives near there just in case he shows up.

He’s a fixed male, just turned 5. All black and very friendly, may come if you call his name. If you open your car door he will jump in, he likes car rides and not afraid of strangers. Call me at any site of a black cat 3207668578

Please help us find him 😢 any hopeful stories of cats returning home in crazy situations welcome 😭
