Mr. Allen was a loyal customer to RJs and always greeted us with a warm smile. His presence will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
McNairy County Sheriff’s Office Mourns the Passing of Allen Strickland
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the sudden passing yesterday of former Chief Deputy and retired McNairy County EMA Director Allen Strickland.
Allen began his service with the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office in 1997, where he served until 2016, including his time as Chief Deputy. In 2016, he transitioned to the role of McNairy County Emergency Management Director, continuing his dedication to the citizens of McNairy County until his retirement on September 1, 2026.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by his unexpected passing. Throughout his many years of public service, Allen dedicated himself to protecting and serving the people of McNairy County, leaving a lasting impact on our community and those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
We ask that everyone keep his wife, Millie, his family, friends, and all those who served alongside him throughout his career in their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
