Founded September 15, 1981 in Norfolk, NE and moved to Stanton, NE on November 9, 2001, the Uptown Brewery is housed in the Stanton landmark Storz Brewing Company building, which served as a barrel house, warehouse, feed and package store, and numerous restaurants. ile the Hunter's Pub can accommodate 45. Virtually every area withing the Brewery has been cleaned, painted, rebuilt or replaced with special care taken to preserve the original integrity and character of the legendary structure. The handcrafted bar in the pub area is made from cured and laminated wood from Stanton county by the late Bill Hill, to whom it is dedicated. The rustic wooden floor is complemented by the original church pews and wooden tables.
