You can find myself Amanda McCoig Pleasant and my daughter Little Amy Lynn Pleasant at the Union Diner starting Monday morning (it’s beside Carolina BBQ ) in Gastonia I’ll be cooking like usual and she’ll be waiting tables

As most of you have heard we are closing Our last day will be the 24th
Starting today all lunch specials will be $7.99 or less until we run out
I want to thank each and everyone of you that has supported us these past few years With the pandemic the shutdowns and the inflation , it has been rough but you all helped us through it and kept us going and that means a lot to us all here We will miss you all

Most of y’all know my girl Amy (big Amy)
I’m asking for y’all to pray for her and her husband A lot of you already know what’s going on with his health (Amyloidosis Cancer)
They have received even more bad news this past week Amy will not be able to come back to work for a long time due to their situation We have a jug on the counter to take up donations for them (They are not the type to ask for help ) So I am asking for help
Also please bare with us as I try to work out a schedule and find some more help If y’all know of anyone looking for a part time (3 to 4 days a week ) serving ,send them my way
