This past week, our friends from Finca La Alondra spent time with us at our cafés. We had the chance to learn from Miguel about their cupping standards, the new harvest coming in soon, and the new processes we've been working on with them back in Honduras for all of you.

What's new? In this new harvest, a Honduran honey process will be on our shelves; this time it's a different variety from the previous one we had.

Gracias Miguel for coming over, checking our processes, and checking out the roastery at S Jefferson, WashU, and our new downtown location.

The weather is perfect for a refreshing agua fresca. Our new passion fruit agua fresca recently joined our traditional house-made lineup. Along with our roasted morro horchata and hibiscus iced tea, they are the perfect drinks for this beautiful fall weather.

Our downtown location opens tomorrow, and we have some new items exclusive to it:

Breakfast tacos: corn tortillas, beans, scrambled eggs rancheros, and cotija cheese with a side of spicy guacamole (your choice of chorizo or plantains).

Choripán: chorizo, mayonnaise, cilantro, and diced onions on a skinny bolillo with a side of chimichurri.

Wash Ave. empanada: you have to come and find out for yourself. 😉
