Here at VP Square, we are looking for Servers to join our front of house staff. Server responsibilities include taking orders in person, over the phone, and or via online methods. Serve food and beverages to Guests in our restaurant and prepare take-out orders. Always be aware of Guest satisfaction to deliver an enjoyable and efficient service experience. Further duties and expectations include but are not limited to: servicing the Guest in a friendly, efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Guests must feel welcome, comfortable, and well attended to at all times.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with restaurant serving, particularly casual/fine dining, and be available to work during our opening hours (as posted on our website, but which will be specifically determined on an individual basis). Preference of 1 Year experience. If hired, you will become part of our staff which has led to over a decade of successes, and numerous awards. Your skills and abilities will help maintain our reputation as one of the best restaurants in Saint Louis.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the perfect service experience for every Guest
• Ensure the Guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
• Adhere to timing standards for products and services
• Present menu, answer questions & make suggestions regarding food &
beverage.
• Serve the Guest in an accommodating manner
• Must know (or quickly learn) all food liquor, beer, wine and menu items offered,
including ingredients and how they are prepared.
• Pre-bus tables; maintain table cleanliness, bus tables, and sanitize tables after
traditional bussing/cleaning has been completed to comply with best Covid-19
Sanitation practices.
• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe, including staff and guest
interactions (keep an eye on cross contamination possibilities and avoidance
practices).
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
• Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
• Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures
• Report to property on time and in proper uniform ( Including face masks and
following Temperature and Covid-19 Screening checklist before coming into
work areas.)
