Many of you know my son as MD. Others know him as Mike or Mikey. No matter what name you know him by, you know the kind of person he is—a loyal friend, a dedicated son, and someone who has always shown up for others.
On May 29, Michael’s life changed in an instant when he was struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle. He suffered a serious femur injury that required surgery and has left him facing a long road to recovery.
Michael recently earned his patches and became a proud member of the motorcycle community. He has supported countless rides, club events, charitable causes, and fellow riders. He has always been willing to lend a hand whenever someone needed help.
Today, Michael needs our help.
Because of his injuries, he is unable to work and is struggling with the financial burden that comes with recovery. Donations will help cover medications, medical equipment, transportation to follow-up appointments, rehabilitation expenses, household bills, and daily living costs while he heals.
As his mother, it is difficult to watch him go through this. We are grateful that he survived, but recovery is going to take time, patience, and support from those who know and love him.
