One morning in 2013, Tower Grove East residents Paul Whitsitt and David Rodgers found themselves confronted with a broken coffee pot. Getting their brew that morning turned into more of an adventure than expected, and the idea for Kitchen House Coffee was born: a convenient, neighborhood place committed to local, freshly sourced products served by friendly staff. The coffee house is an extension o

f Whitsitt and Rodgers' nearby urban farm, Kitchen House Farm, named for the old kitchen house or summer kitchen that still stands on the property. The vision for Kitchen House Coffee is centered around the idea of finding a country respite in the city— a repurposed, urban space focused on sustainable product. Our food offerings are made inhouse from scratch, and incorporate herbs, greens, eggs, honey and vegetables from our farm when possible. We roast our own specialty coffee beans, and other coffee, tea, and retail items come from nearby St. Urban. Home. This is what Kitchen House Coffee means to us. We can’t wait to welcome you in.
