Welcome back, Panettōn!
Each year we create this special blend inspired by the flavors of panettone, a traditional Italian holiday cake made from yeasted sweet bread, dried fruit, and candied citrus. This is our sixth season offering Panettōn, and we've looked forward to its return all year long.
This year's blend starts with Toliman, Guatemala, a washed coffee that gives Panettōn a sweet bread and caramel base, and a smooth, structured body. The tangy Nairobi AA, Kenya adds the earthiness of raisin and a bright note of candied orange. And the naturally processed Adamo, Ethiopia brings the richness of dried fruit, along with the subtle hint of booze that makes Panettōn so special.
Panettōn is equally at home in your morning coffee mug as on a holiday table. We'll be sharing Panettōn with friends and family, and savoring plenty of cups for ourselves, all fall and winter long. Panettōn is on our website now, and hitting retail shelves and café menus this week.
