Big news for St. Louis coffee lovers!
St. Louis-based Athena Coffee Roasters is proud to announce the acquisition of Pipers Tea & Coffee - St. Louis, bringing together two beloved local brands under one locally owned, woman-owned company.
What started as a small coffee roasting operation founded by Laura Scales has grown into a mission-driven business focused on sourcing exceptional coffee grown by women around the world. Today, we're excited to carry that mission forward while preserving the traditions, quality, and community that have made Pipers a St. Louis favorite for the last 5 years.
Moving forward, the coffee shop will operate as Pipers by Athena, a blend of two brands united by a shared commitment to quality, community, and exceptional beverages. Coffee offerings will come from Athena Coffee Roasters, and tea offerings will remain from Pipers Tea & Coffee.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Peter and Amber, whose passion, dedication, and hard work built Pipers Tea & Coffee - St. Louis into the incredible business it is today. Their commitment to serving the community created something truly special, and we are proud to carry that legacy forward.
Customers can continue to expect the warm atmosphere, outstanding service, and quality products they've come to know and love, while also experiencing exciting new offerings from Athena Coffee Roasters.
