An Important Statement Regarding Our Bakery

In light of recent events surrounding Speakeasy Café, and after receiving inquiries regarding our association with the establishment, I feel it is necessary to publicly clarify a few things.

Ain’t Muffin to It Bake Shop has not been affiliated with, supplied products to, or conducted business with Speakeasy Café for several years.

When our business relationship ended, I personally requested that our bakery’s name be removed from their website. That request was not honored, and despite the years that have passed, our business continues to be advertised as their baker.

One of my concerns was having our bakery’s name associated with products we did not make or supply, including food purchased elsewhere and resold by the establishment.

I have spent years building my business, perfecting my craft, and earning the trust of my customers and community. I stand behind every product that comes out of my kitchen, and I will not have my business represented as being responsible for products or operations that have nothing to do with us.

To be absolutely clear, we have no current business relationship with Speakeasy Café, and our continued appearance on its website is without our consent.

I am once again requesting the immediate removal of our business name from their website.

To everyone who has reached out with questions or concerns, thank you for giving me the opportunity to clarify.

And to everyone who continues to support my small business, thank you. ❤️

A love story told in cake, books and buttercream 📚✨

This stacked book cake was created for the sweetest book themed bridal shower, featuring Fourth Wing and Twilight with rich, moody colors and romantic floral details. I also made four flavors of dessert pinwheels to complete the spread!

The best message to receive afterward: “No one wanted to cut it, but now that we have, everyone is saying how yummy it is!” 🥹

Beautiful enough to be the centerpiece, but always made to taste just as good as it looks. 🤎

Teacher Appreciation Week felt like the perfect time to show some love to the people pouring into our kids every single day. ❤️

This morning, Ain’t Muffin To It donated 150 fresh pastries to the incredible teachers and staff at Webster Groves High School as a small thank you for all they do behind the scenes that so often goes unnoticed.

Early mornings, late nights, endless patience, emotional support, encouragement, teaching, coaching, mentoring… it matters. And as a parent, I know firsthand how much these educators impact our children’s lives.
