There’s something special about the quiet moments before the doors open. ☕️📖
Sitting at the table this morning, getting ready to open the cafe,and today’s devotional was “The Secret to Abundance.”
Martin Luther said
“I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands, that I still possess.”
And the action for today was simple: Give something away with no expectation of anything in return.
As a business owner, we’re constantly thinking about ROI, return on investment. What will this cost? What will it bring back? Is it worth it?
But God’s Kingdom works differently.
Give without expecting an ROI.
Give because someone needs it.
Give because God put it on your heart.
Give because generosity is who we are called to be not because of what we might receive in return.

The cafe, our finances, our family, our plans and our future are ultimately in God’s hands.
“God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
Maybe the greatest return on investment comes when we stop looking for one. 🙏☕️
