Yesterday, the entire Papelón team had the opportunity to attend the Detroit Tigers game and experience something truly special.

As a Latino-owned business in Metro Detroit, it fills us with pride to watch the incredible talent representing our community on the field. Seeing players from Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and across Latin America contributing to such an exciting Tigers season is something we celebrate wholeheartedly.

A very special thank you to Carlos Guillén for inviting us not only to the game, but also into the press box to see firsthand the work that happens behind the microphone. What many people hear as a broadcast is only a small part of what he does. He is a communicator, a mentor, a translator, a trusted resource, and a bridge between the players and the Spanish-speaking community that supports them.

We are incredibly grateful for the experience and proud of the impact he continues to make every day.

From one Venezuelan family to another, thank you for opening your doors and sharing your world with us. 🇻🇪⚾

⚽️ The countdown is on! The FIFA World Cup kicks off June 11, and we’re ready for a summer full of fútbol, arepas, and good vibes. 🇻🇪🔥

This week we’re sharing our updated schedule, including our NEW Pavilion Street Market hours:

🕛 Mondays: 12 PM – 8 PM
🕛 Thursdays: 12 PM – 9 PM

🎉 Save the date! We’ll be hosting a FIFA World Cup Opening Day Watch Party at Papelon Market Café, featuring the Opening Ceremony and the opening match.

And yes… we’ll be watching Shakira too. 💃⚽🔥
