⚾🔥 Baseball, BBQ, and big-league dreams!

Today BBQ Daddy hung out with Detroit Tigers rookie sensation Kevin McGonigle at his first professional autograph signing — and what an awesome young man. Kevin was generous, gracious, and you can tell he’s playing the game we love the right way, while living out every kid’s baseball dream.

To show our respect for how hard he plays the game, BBQ Daddy will be creating a new menu item inspired by Kevin! Stay tuned… this one’s going to be a home run. 💪⚾🍖

Huge thanks to Steve and DC Sports for putting on such a great event. We had a blast today!

We’re incredibly thankful to have been part of the Chippewa Valley Educational Foundation Taste Fest and Auction. It was an honor for BBQ Daddy to be included in such a meaningful event that gives back to local students and schools.

A huge shoutout to our amazing staff for the hard work, great attitudes, and dedication they bring to every event. We are proud of the way they represented BBQ Daddy and helped make the evening a success.

Happy Opening Day from BBQ Daddy’s! ⚾️🧡💙

For me, baseball has always meant more than just a game. Baseball and my father go hand in hand. Some of the greatest memories of my life were made because of him and because of this game we both love.

I think about the days spent at Detroit Tigers games, sitting beside my dad, taking in the sounds of the ballpark, the smell of the field, and the excitement of every pitch. I think about him coaching my little league teams, teaching me more than just how to play the game. He taught me about showing up, working hard, respecting others, and giving everything you’ve got. I think about all the times we played catch in the backyard, just a father and son with a ball and glove, making memories that at the time felt simple, but now mean everything. And I think about looking into the stands as a kid and seeing him there watching me play, supporting me every step of the way.

The older I get, the more I realize baseball was never only about baseball. It was about time together. It was about love, guidance, tradition, and the bond between a father and son. In so many ways, when I think of baseball, I think of my dad. The two are one and the same in my heart.

Today, as we celebrate Detroit Tigers Opening Day, I’m celebrating those memories too. Here’s to fathers, families, traditions, and the game that brings it all together.
