🎀🩷 MORE THAN PINK. MORE THAN A RIBBON. 🩷🎀
Sometimes, the smallest gestures carry the biggest messages.
This week, across St. Clair County, members of our Child Nutrition Program family traded their everyday work shirts for shades of pink. Different schools, different kitchens, but one shared message: You are seen. You are loved. And you are not alone. 🩷
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we proudly stand beside the women who are fighting, celebrate those who have survived, honor those we have lost, and hold close the families whose lives have been forever touched by this disease.
And this year, our pink has a name especially dear to our hearts.
Our very own Shelly Putnam. 💕
After months of treatments, challenges, and incredible perseverance, our sweet Shelly recently rang the bell marking the completion of her radiation treatments! 🔔🎀
We couldn't be prouder of her.
A special thank-you to Springville Fire & Rescue for standing alongside our CNP family and showing Shelly just how far the love and support of a community can reach.
These pictures aren't just about wearing pink. They're about showing up for one another. They're about love, hope, strength, and the kind of family that extends far beyond the walls of a school cafeteria.
