Conn’s Hospitality Group is excited to announce the transition of Wm. Van’s Cafe to the care of Dalton Ingram, former owner of The Carriage House and a local business owner who shares the Conn family's passion for historic revitalization and preservation.

Dalton plans to continue to serve the high-quality coffee and delicious food that guests have come to expect, along with the same mission of being a welcoming space for the community to connect.

Effective May 1st, Wm. Van’s will reopen as Mary Todd’s, continuing its legacy of community, charm and connection. Dalton is committed to maintaining the inviting atmosphere and culinary offerings that have made Wm. Van's a favorite spot to gather in Springfield.

Wm. Van’s Cafe will serve its final customers under its current name and ownership on Sunday, April 27th, before reopening as Mary Todd’s on May 1st. We’re excited to see this vibrant space thrive under Dalton’s stewardship.

While we will not reopen in the carriage building, we have secured a location and will be opening a new location in April. We will keep you updated with location details.

We will have a full coffee shop & brunch as well as a drive thru.

Due to many issues including a crumbling foundation and dispute with partners we will not reopen at 724 E Edwards.

But we are happy to say all staff will be joining back at the new brunch space.

Working.

They are working to get the issue resolved. But for today we will be cash only.

Happy December everyone, we want to announce we will be opening back up for this weekend, we have all new inspections completed.

We still have a few issues to resolve to open the full coffee aspect with the espresso.

We will be offering soups!

Loaded potato, French onion, chili, beef vegetable.

As many know we acquired theAviatori_coffeehouse & equipment. With that we have moved the espresso machine we call “Elektra” or “R2D2” lol to carriage.

When we reopen we will be having an amazing line of coffees and espresso Martinis.

Hello all, we want to give a little update as to the progress.

2 of the 3 Restrooms are almost completed, the espresso machine is installed and we will be ready to see everyone in a few short weeks.

The Carriage House- we will offer food, coffee and cocktails.

We want to thank everyone for an amazing 2024.

With being a small small family ran place and staff shortages we are a little tired from a crazy summer.

With that the staff and I will be taking vacation for the next 30 Days.

We will be closed the month of November and reopen in December.

Upon reopening we will be rebranded and offer a full line of coffee, espressos, baked goods and healthy options.

We will also have completely updated restrooms!
