🎒 Celebrate the first day of school! ✏️📚

Choose two entrées from our regular Takeout Special, and we’ll send them home with salad, bread rolls, cookies, and a 10-inch pizza—your choice of cheese or pepperoni! 🍕

Order online or call ahead, then pick up dinner on your way home. Get everyone settled and spend the evening hearing all about teachers, friends, and everything that happened on that very first day. ❤️

🔥 🎒 And just like that… back to school we go! ✏️📚

Tomorrow is the day that the last schools kick off the school year which means alarms are back, backpacks are packed, lunches need made, practices are starting, and everyone is trying to remember what this whole routine thing feels like again. 😅

So while you get the family settled back into the swing of things, let us take dinner off your list.

No cooking. No dishes. No figuring out what everyone wants after a very long first day back.

🍕 NEW ON METRO INSIDER: From Staten Island to Springfield 🍕

You know the pizza. You know that beautiful wood-fired oven.

But do you know how Metro's pizza actually came to be? 👀

Let's just say... when Pat decides something at Metro can be better, things tend to escalate quickly. 😂

What started with an Italian pizza oven and pizzas that were just fine eventually led to Pat looking at his daughter Katrina—one of our cooks—and asking:

"Want to head to New York and learn how to make some real wood-fired pizzas?"

Because apparently that's how we solve problems around here. ✈️🍕

Off to Staten Island she went, spending a week learning at The Original Goodfella's before bringing that knowledge back home to Springfield.

The dough. The technique. The trial and error. And eventually... the pizza you know at Metro today.
