It's with a heavy heart that, after 8 years, I must close Amber's Cake Lair indefinitely. I will not be accepting anymore orders.

These are the price differences two years has made on the most common items I buy for cake. Unfortunately, I can't offer competitive prices on my cakes anymore. I refuse to charge double what I was charging just to make a profit close to what I was making. That profit, quite frankly, doesn't compete with inflation. I would need to triple my prices. I can't, in good conscience, charge triple my old prices just to make ends meet at my own home.

I want to thank everyone for your loyal years as my clients, friends, and family. I will miss all of you so much!
