스프링필드 제일 한국 학교는 스프링 제일 한인 교회안에 부설된 곳으로 우리의 이민 자녀들은 물론 외국인에게도 아름다운 한국을 알리고자 설립되었읍니다.
프로그램으로는 매주 일요일 오전 9시 30분부터 오전 10시 30분까지 5명의 교사들이 분반으로 지도하는 한글교실이 있으며 한글회화/문화교실과 악기교실이 오후 1시부터 오후 3시 까지 함께 병행되고 있읍니다.
우리들의 소망은 우리의 자녀들이 타국에서 한국인의 정체성을 잃지 않고 다양한 프로그램을 통해 모국어와 한국 문화를 직접 혹은 간접적으로 체험하고 습득하여 자랑스런 한국인으로서의 긍정적인 사고를 함양시키길 원합니다.
더 나아가 언어, 미술, 음악을 통한 전인적인, 통합적인 인간으로 성장하여 작게는 이웃에게, 크게는 세계인류에게 좋은 영향력을 미치는 훌륭한 한국인으로 성장하기를 기원합니다.
