Mr. Kashouh was grateful for the opportunity to appear in court today and respond to the allegations against him. He maintains his innocence and says he acted in self-defense.

As this matter moves through the legal process, Mr. Kashouh looks forward to the opportunity to fully address the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

Having just celebrated over 25 years serving the Springfield community, Mr. Kashouh is incredibly grateful for the many clients, guests, friends, and community members who have reached out and continued to support him and Nadim’s. He sincerely thanks them for their kindness and support during this time.

A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Domenic Sarno for taking time out of his busy schedule to personally present me with this very special proclamation recognizing September 10, 2026, as “Nadim’s Mediterranean Restaurant and Grill Day” in the City of Springfield.

After 26 years in downtown Springfield, this recognition means more to me than I can put into words. Springfield has given me the opportunity to build a business, raise a family, create lifelong friendships, and become part of a community I am proud to call home.

Mayor Sarno, thank you for your friendship, your kind words, and your continued support throughout the years. I will treasure this proclamation and what it represents.
