Hi friends,
As many of you have heard already from rumors or from me personally, we are closing very soon. I wanted to take this time to say thank you for the past two and a half years of your support through our ups and downs. It has been an honor and pleasure of mine to introduce a cuisine that I’ve been so passionate about to the people of Springfield. I’ve had the greatest time curating a fun and fulfilling dining experience and especially in meeting many new friends and those have become family. I truly wish we could’ve lasted longer but it just wasn’t in the books for us and out of my control. Those closest to me and the business know how difficult these last few months have been.
I want to also take this time to apologize to any guests over the past two and a half years who may not have enjoyed their experience with us.
But most importantly I want to say thank you to those who have come in and taken a chance on something you’ve never tried and thank you to those who have made it a part of your regular routine. You’ve made a 20 year-old’s dream come true.
As pertaining to the part where I’ve been getting the most questions. There will still be a restaurant here but as far as Empire goes, it will no longer be operating. The new business is already making changes so if you come in these next few days or weeks you may see some different decor, please don’t be alarmed. I personally will still be here to oversee the operations of the new business for a few months. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me, I’ll try to answer them promptly.
We will still be opened as Empire at least until the end of next week as other things are getting worked out so if you’d like to get your Korean BBQ fix, please join us next week! Please also be patient and understanding with us in this time as many of our staff will be going out of town and we may be out of stock of many items so we won’t be able to operate at our desired capacity.
